Mera Peak is the highest trekking peak in the Himalayas and a popular six-thousander (6476 m) in Nepal. Climbing Mera Peak is technically straightforward and accessible to tourists with experience in ascending Elbrus, Mont Blanc, or Kilimanjaro. From the summit of Mera Peak, breathtaking views of the main Himalayan ridge and peaks like Makalu, Lhotse, Everest, and Cho-Oyu can be enjoyed. Despite its altitude, Mera Peak is attainable for those who want to try high-altitude mountaineering for the first time. It stands taller than popular peaks like Island Peak or Lobuche, yet is technically simpler.

Gradual acclimatization will not only allow you to enjoy the trekking route to the base camp of Mera Peak but also help you adapt well to the altitude, increasing your chances of successfully summiting Mera Peak!
