Where?
Cogne - is a mecca for ice climbers. There are two main valleys: Valnontey and Lillaz. Each valley has more than 50 icefalls.
In fact, an ice cascade in the summer is just an ordinary stream, perhaps with waterfalls. In the winter, the water freezes and forms rivers of ice, which ice climbers have found to be an excellent challenge to climb.
The guide will help you choose interesting routes, and with him you will climb them. During the climb, the guide will teach you various ice climbing and mountaineering techniques, so you will definitely be satisfied. And of course, there will be plenty of opportunities for photos. Ice climbing is a winter sport, and you need to be prepared for low temperatures - warm clothing and a thermos with hot tea will save the day.
